ATHENS

Located in the heart of historic Athens, Woo Suites is minutes away from both the Syntagma and the Monastiraki Metro station and easily reached by taxi or limo service. We are walking distance from archaeological and cultural hotspots, as well as the vibrant food and bar scene, and just a stone’s throw away from the main shopping pedestrian avenue of Ermou Street.

Archaeological and Cultural Hotspots

The Acropolis Museum is a “must-see” combined with a visit to the Parthenon; the Archaeological Museum will also require a good part of your morning but worth it; the Panathenaic Stadium where the Olympics were revived is close to the Olympian Zeus site; a bird’s eye view of Athens from the top of the Lycabettus hill on a clear day is rewarding; the recently opened National Gallery is close to the center and well worth a visit; don’t forget to check the Herodian Theatre, the ISNF, and the Megaron schedules for unique concerts and opera nights.

A walk around Plaka and Thesio (despite the touristy feel) offers a look into how Athens used to be up until recently. Of course, one could do a day trip to Sounio to see the Temple of Poseidon and combine it with a swim at a nearby beach along the Athenian Riviera.
